COVID-19 Safety
To offer the safest experience for my clients and myself, I am following guidelines recommended by the Washington State Department of Health and industry associations, along with infection control recommendations made by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
Please take a moment to review the following safety protocols to help you decide if receiving a massage is right for you. It is advised that you discuss with your doctor the risks and benefits of receiving a massage and make an informed decision based on their recommendation.
Anyone who has or lives with someone with a compromised immune system, or who may be at higher risk for serious complications from COVID-19, should avoid situations that increase their probability of exposure to the virus.
MASK UPDATE 4/3/2023
Effective April 3, the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) ended the Secretary of Health mask order, which required universal masking in healthcare settings. Masks are now RECOMMENDED in a healthcare setting but are not required.
SAFETY PROTOCOLS
The studio space is 230sf with 14’ ceilings and two large windows for good airflow. Additionally, I’m running an air purifier with an H13 HEPA filter.
I will be taking a limited number of clients per day to allow for cleaning, disinfecting, and airing out the studio between each client.
All surfaces to be cleaned and disinfected with medical grade cleaner, and wipes include: door handles; fixtures and switches; cabinets and countertops; massage table and face cradle; bolsters and cushions; hot stones; pedicure bowl; product bottles and containers; clothes hooks and bin.
Fresh linens are always used for each client, including sheets, face cradle covers, eye pillow covers, blankets, and towels.
